Based in stunning, heritage-listed offices in Melbourne's Docklands, you have everything at your door step, not to mention the easy 2 minute walk from Southern Cross Station.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Application Assessment Officer for a 12 month rolling contract to work alongside and to support our Student Recruitment team.

As an Application Assessment Officer you will be responsible for reviewing all student applications and efficiently facilitating the admissions process.

This role will require you to:

  • Review and manage all current applications to ensure that the admission requirements of each course are met

  • Manage the application life cycle with a sense of urgency, solution and customer focus

  • Actively participate in weekly meetings being prepared to discuss performance data, prospective applicant concerns, and creative solutions to enhance team performance.

Qualifications

  • Initiative and problem solving skills

  • General knowledge of higher education and/or university admissions and recruitment (ideal but not essential)

  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong customer service focus

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and have strong multi-tasking and organisational skills
